"House cow, Butler Street Opawa. The area now is taken up with housing. Butler Street finished at no. 11 (now 21) and there was a gate at that point, grazing for cows from there. It was used for horse grazing from around 1950. This view is looking towards houses on Murray Aynsley Hill. My Grandmother used the cows milk and made butter for home use." - Contributor's note
