Christchurch Central Fire brigade annual family Christmas Picnic. The children would get to go for a ride on the fire engine. Fireman Len Corner is in the front, middle with his daughter Marie Corner (then aged 3) and wife Joyce Corner behind them. Len later went on to become the Fire Commander for Christchurch.
