Close up view of the crowd seen in the background of photo no.9, outside Louis J Spence Ltd, a business on one of the other corners of Cashel and Manchester streets. The crowd are several deep spilling onto the road, and onto a pedestrian crossing. Children are in the crowd, it is likely school is out for the summer holidays. Different ranks of police are speaking to people in the crowd. A photographer glances back at the scene as he walks across the road.
