Harewood School Centennial parade

1965

In 1965 the school celebrated its Centennial, albeit rather belatedly. It was a great occasion, the big feature being a motorised procession and display of floats travelling up Harewood Road from Papanui to the school. This image shows the float promoting the Junior Red Cross.
