Zig-zag climb on the route to Taylor's Mistake

March 1997.

Leah, a visitor from the North Island was keen to go walking on the hills. I suggested my favourite walk, Whitewash Road to Taylor's Mistake. Commencing at Scarborough we had views of Sumner and the Southern Alps on the way to Whitewash head. We also saw shags' nests on the cliffs below. This view shows Leah and Merle on the zig-zag climb on the route to Taylor's Mistake. We had wonderful views along the way with Godley Head in the distance.
