Arohanui Community protest

Protest by the Arohanui Community outside the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament on Barbadoes Street against the sale of Maryknoll, a worship and refuge centre, by Most Rev. B.P. Ashby Catholic Bishop of Christchurch. Maryknoll is used as a worship and friendship centre, as a refuge for former prisoners, as a drama and recreation centre and as a base for alcoholic support groups.
